Where your records live, and who can see them

For the people who ask before agreeing to a new tool: an accountant, a partner, a client with a lawyer. Plain answers, one page, no form.

Where the data is

The database and photo storage run on Supabase in the EU (Paris).
The website and app run on Cloudflare's network.
Sign-in is handled by the same database's authentication, with passwords stored hashed.

Who can see what

Every workshop is kept apart from every other in the database. Automated tests check this for every table on every change.
Your client sees only the entries you publish, on a private link. Costs, prices and payments stay in your workshop view.
Public pages such as passports never show client names, emails, phone numbers or addresses. Owners appear as a number and a date.

Money

Zurgina does not take payments. It records deposits and balances, so you see what is planned, paid and overdue.
There are no transaction fees because there are no transactions.

Photos

Photos are copied without GPS location or camera metadata before anyone else sees them. Originals stay on your phone.
Photos of a client's home are shared only with their consent.
Video upload is switched off until the same stripping exists for video.

Your data, your exit

Export everything as one file at any time: commissions, entries, pieces, materials, clients and payments.
Delete the workshop yourself from settings. Everything for that workshop is removed.
Planned: each passport as a self-contained page you can host yourself.

If Zurgina stops

You keep your export. Passports are meant to outlast the software, and a self-hosted version is on the roadmap.
We will tell you in good time, and you can export before anything is switched off.

Responsibilities

You decide what to record about your clients. We process it on your behalf, and a data processing agreement comes with the beta terms.
Contact for data questions is on the privacy policy page.
