Data and privacy

Your records, your clients

Plain answers to the questions makers ask before they put their work and their clients into a new tool. The legal version is in the privacy policy.

Your records are yours

  • —Export everything at any time: commissions, entries, pieces, materials, clients and original media.
  • —Each passport can also be downloaded as a self-contained web page with its photos, data and printable files, so you can host it yourself.
  • —Planned: passports on your workshop’s own domain, so the printed address never has to change.

What your client sees

  • —Only the entries you publish, on a private link sent by email. No account, no app.
  • —Links can be revoked and re-issued at any time.
  • —Comments from clients are private to you and them.

What the public sees

  • —Passports show the piece, the workshop, materials you marked as public, the care card, the warranty and the serial number.
  • —Owners appear only as a number and a date, for example “Owner #1 since March 2026”.
  • —No client names, emails, phone numbers or addresses appear on any public page. Our tests check this on every change.

Photos and the workshop

  • —Photos are copied without GPS location or camera metadata before anyone else sees them. Originals stay private.
  • —Entries made offline are stored on your phone until they upload.
  • —Photos of a client’s home are only shared with their consent.

Who is responsible for what

  • —You are responsible for your clients’ personal data, and we process it on your behalf. A data processing agreement comes with the beta terms.
  • —Workshops are kept apart in the database: one workshop can never read another’s data, and automated tests check this for every table.
  • —We plan to keep data in the European Union.

The waitlist

  • —If you join the waitlist we store your email and any answers you choose to give.
  • —We use them to invite studios and to decide what to build. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete them at any time.

Beta note

Zurgina is in development. This page describes how the beta is built. We will update it as features ship and before anything here changes. Read the privacy policy for the legal terms.
