  1. The website goes up

    • Landing page, how it works, the passport, a sample passport, and the beta waitlist.
    • Three free tools: pricing calculator, care card maker, certificate of authenticity.
    • The first guides for makers and for the people who own their work.

  2. Name chosen: Zurgina

    • Basque for “the woodworker”. The domain was already ours.

  3. Foundations

    • Furniture template written down to the field: 12 stages, 6 material types, care texts by finish.
    • Database with workshop isolation tested on every table, and passports that cannot show client names.
    • Tests for QR sizes: an uppercase link fits a 20 mm code where a mixed-case one needs 25 mm.
